I found these exercises to be a little frustrating especially the blind contour work. The purpose of this exercise was to show us how line depth differs. The deeper the line the darker it appears; softer lines are lighter. The further away an object, the lighter the line, closer objects are
emphasized in a drawing, by making them darker. This was the purpose of the perspective homework given to us by Teresa. I enjoyed this exercise a lot more than the in class exercise because it was partial blind contour. Some of my blind contours did not even resemble the object I was trying to depict. Nevertheless it was a learning experience!
