The in class exercises consisted of ideas surrounding movement and interruption.The homework assignment was to demonstrate symmetry. To create an object symbolizing movement and interruption with just the paper you have in front of you and a pencil using only dots or lines, seemed difficult for me at first. But then when you think about it the possibilities are endless. There are many options, with the use of line depth, darkness, shape and length anything can be done with a little thought; it’s just about discovering the design then following through with the idea at hand.
